For 11 days each September, Little Italy is transformed into a red, white and green feast for the senses with special guests, live music, crafts, games and a cannoli eating contest. The Feast of San Gennaro runs from Thursday, September 13, 2018 through Sunday, September 23, 2018.
The Feast of San Gennaro is located along Mulberry Street between Canal and Houston Streets. The festival stage is located on the corner of Grand and Motts Sts and features live entertainment starting at 7:30pm each night.

September is perhaps the best time of year in New York City. The summer tourists from out of town dwindle and New Yorkers who spend their summers on Fire Island, in The Hamptons and down the Jersey Shore return. Baseball pennant races heat up (not for Met fans this year) and football season gets going. It is also the time when people start planning their pilgrimage to Mulberry Street for the Feast of San Gennaro. If everyone is a little Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, then everyone is surely a little Italian during San Gennaro.
The 92nd Annual Feast of San Gennaro will be held in Manhattan’s Little Italy for 11 days, from September 13, through September 23, 2018, on the streets of historic Little Italy. A stroll through the feast with friends and family is a guaranteed good time for all.
I have been coming to The Feast since I was a teenager and now I live right around the corner from it. The aroma of sausage and peppers, seafood and fried zeppole are in the air and the sounds of people having fun are everywhere. Memories are waiting to be made. Come on down!
